1 January 09 Blessing of the Bikes
Thanks Skip Surre for the pictures! We could use someone to do a longer write-up!
We had 31+ members and friends on over 20 bikes and trikes at the event! There was a huge turnout by all sorts of clubs and organizations. Over 400 signed in! They ran out of rally pins!! After the blessing, 24 of us on 14 or so bikes headed to the China Garden for lunch. It was a bit more than we really wanted to pay but they were open, there was plenty of parking, and they gave us a nice room in the back! The restaurant seemed glad to have us. They were taking pictures of all the bikes! After lunch a group of 7 bikes headed out for some more riding! It was just too nice a day to call it quits early.
