18 December 07 Impromptu Ride
5 bikes and 6 folks met at Evans Rd and 281 at 10am for a ride to somewhere! David Lonning was first to show up on his new Harley Electra Glide Classic, then Bob & Michel Fairey, Glenn Boswell, Mike Mills and of course myself, Brad Severe. They just told me to lead and they would follow so off we went! Up 281 a bit to Rt 46 then over to 3351 and up to Edge Falls Rd then on to Kendalia. From there we went up Crabapple Rd to 1888 then over to 1376 and a short stop in Luckenbach! Then across to Johnson City and lunch at the Silver K. After lunch we took the quick route home along 281. Glenn said goodbyes as he stopped for gas in Johnson City. Bob & Michel dropped off at 306, Mike Mills at 1863 and David & I went on to Cycle Rider! Beautiful day to ride with clear skies and a high of 74! We hope to have another impromptu ride soon!
