17 Feb 07 Ride to Fredricksburg and The National Museum Of The Pacific

We had a great ride today IMO.  We met Duke and Ken at 3009 and departed
about 9:15 for an uneventful and comfortable ride to 281/46 where we met
John and Sharon, Olin and Martha, and Court.  So we had six bikes and nine
people.  Olin and Martha took the drag and away we went.  The little detour
worked out very well when we came out at Kendalia, We were right on the edge
of the construction zone So that worked out well.  Comfortable but kinda
windy ride up to Fredericksburg.  The parking places were all filled between
the Diner and the Hotel where we parked so we as if we knew what we were
doing just pulled up on the A/C parking apron and lined the bikes up.  Good
photo op.  Out timing was perfect in that we got seated right away although
we had to split up.  But it was not a problem,  Food and Service was good
and a lot of Airport activity which was interesting.  Highly recommended for
a return trip.  The museum was great,  Candy and Martha went shopping and
the rest of us toured the museum,  We went for Ice Cream after finishing the
museum followed by an scenic and very nice ride back.  170 miles and
returned home about 4:30
