13 Mar Friday Ride Write-up It was a dark and stormy night. Four lost souls braved the cold and wet to meet in the Wal-Mart parking lot for our Friday night ride. Luis & Ida Flores were sitting in their car as Mellissa & I pulled up at 6:15 PM. After the usual greetings, each couple sat in their own car wondering who else would be so silly as to show up on an ugly night like this. At 6:30 exactly, we drove across the highway to Bill Miller's for a quick meal . Ironically we ran into Tom & Nancy Byrd who were just finishing dinner with their son. We sat at the next table and enjoyed a nice meal with some great company. Tom & Nancy said their goodbyes shortly after we sat down. Mellissa, Ida, Luis, & I had a great conversation at dinner. We sat there talking for quite some time. As the Flores's and Skorman's left for home, we all remarked how much we enjoy ourselves even when our numbers are small.
