11 October 08 Chapter W Rally in Smithville

Weather was a bit iffy as I left home. Drizzle then a bit of rain on the way to the pick up point. I was confident the weather guessers were right and the day would be nice. 6 folks on 4 bikes met at YOSA. Was great to see Brent & Sue Lyons, Sal Pesta and Ken & Connie Jordan. Mike & Ako Mills had made arrangements for us to do a running pickup along the way and they joined us in McQueeny. Bill & Jane were meeting us a bit further down the road and we did another running pickup to get them in Lockhart. Weather was still cloudy but you could see the end of the front in the distance. By the time we stopped for a break in Rosanky, it was clearing up.

Had our own little end of the table but there was lots of room.
