11 Dec 10 - Chapter "U" Christmas Party

The Chapter “U” annual Christmas Party was held yesterday at Bricks River Café in Bandera.  We had over 40 Chapter members attend this event to include Candy & Charlie Brown.  It was great to see both of them!!  There was an unfortunate accident on Hwy 46, as we drove to Bandera that caused a few of us to arrive over an hour late but we all made it safe and sound.  The folks at Bricks River Café took very good care of us and the food was terrific.  Everyone then enjoyed the White Elephant gift exchange with everyone going out winners.  The annual 50/50 Christmas drawing was won by none other then Millie Kvapil.  Millie has organized and run this event for 23 years and this was the first time she had ever won.  Congratulations Millie, you were due to win!!!
